1st Lady's Wee Move

Wee move my foot ! You have never seen anyone arrive with so much luggage. She had a carousel all to herself! We moved through the airport in a convoy and as I am only 5ft3inch I could hardly see over the top of the cases on the trolley! People just jumped out of our way. It took one people carrier and one car to transport us into town! ( And to think that is just the cosmetics and toiletries! Main items are yet to be shipped!)
1st Lady has things well planned though. It is her Birthday today!!! This means that she is sure to get my pressie on the actual day and I have no doubt that was her main plan.
In one way it is hard to believe that a whole week has gone by since her arrival as we have been so busy settling her in. On the other hand I am surprised it is only one week as we have done soooo much in that time.
The fact that I have been busy running around with her has gone over her head though as she has insisted that I take time to Post again! I tell you my life is now under her control ( and she is taller and fiercer than I am ...well she wasn't nicknamed 'Little Miss' at 5 years old for nothing!)
I love Scotland and am mad on Edinburgh and I know 1st Lady was ready for this move home, BUT is Edinburgh ready for 1st Lady??
Watch this space!

We’ve read your blog with interest and believe that you would be an ideal contributor to the new s1play website.

When the new s1play website launches next month it'll be all about great ideas for things to do in Scotland, submitted by people just like you. We'd love you to contribute and we are happy for you to link to your own blog from your recommendation.

We're interested in all kinds of fun things to do, for all types of people, so this is your chance to inspire others to get out and about in Scotland. And if that doesn't make you feel good inside, the fabulous prizes on offer certainly will.

We are going to shortlist 10 submissions and put it a public vote. You could win £5000 to fund a dream day out for a school or community group of your choice, plus a £1000 Red Letter Day voucher for yourself.

You can submit your ideas at www.s1play.com/recommend. Feel free to place a link to your blog from the recommendation, but we would ask that the recommendation is submitted in full. You can also include photo's or videos.

Thanks in advance for your assistance, please feel free to delete this from your comments if you feel it is inappropriate.

Kind Regards

ah, as Emo Phillips once said, "you're born at a safer distance from the Apocolypse" than me, well done you. You Go Girl

Hope you had a good one

I like that quote Hunterer! Does it mean the same as 'I could fall in a midden and still come out smelling of roses'? as was said to me many years ago.

Thanks for the birthday wishes all! l.muck bought me a fine pair of pink slippers. if i lived in the country I'd consider wearing them out the front door but wearing them in Edinburgh I'd be mistaken for a yeti, I may post a photo of them....
